Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Dee, a self-custodial wallet app operated by Decentralized Exploration Limited, handles information in connection with the Dee mobile application and related services (together, Dee, the App, we, us, our).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Dee, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the App.
Dee is designed as a self-custodial app with no accounts. We aim to collect and process as little information as reasonably necessary to operate the App.
2. Data Controller
The data controller for Dee, for the purposes of applicable data protection law, is:
Decentralized Exploration Limited, British Virgin Islands
Contact: [email protected]
3. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Dee mobile application and any related services controlled by Decentralized Exploration Limited. It does not apply to third-party websites, wallets, protocols, or services that you access through Dee. Those services have their own privacy policies and practices.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
Dee is a privacy-focused, self-custodial app with no registration or accounts. In particular, Dee does not:
- (a) collect your full name, email address, phone number, postal address, or government-issued identification;
- (b) collect your private keys, seed phrases, wallet passwords, or recovery phrases — they are generated and stored only on your device (and, if you enable it, in your iCloud Keychain, which we cannot access);
- (c) collect your contact list, photos, files, or personal media;
- (d) collect your banking details, credit card numbers, or traditional financial account information;
- (e) knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health data, biometric data, or information about political or religious beliefs. Face ID / Touch ID verification is performed entirely by iOS on your device; biometric data never reaches us.
5. Information We May Process
Dee may process a limited set of information that is necessary to operate the App.
5.1 Public blockchain data — When you create or import a wallet and use the App, it reads public blockchain data that is already available on-chain, such as:
- (a) public wallet addresses;
- (b) token balances, margin balances, collateral;
- (c) open positions, orders, order history, and realized or unrealized profit and loss;
- (d) on-chain transaction hashes and related metadata;
- (e) market, pair, and protocol information.
This information is not combined with direct identifiers such as your real name or contact information — the App has none.
Creating or importing a wallet does not create an account or record with Dee or on any network. On-chain data associated with a wallet address exists only after the address transacts — for example, when the Hyperliquid network credits its first USDC transfer.
5.2 Technical data — Dee does not embed third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. When the App communicates with blockchain infrastructure (such as the Hyperliquid API, RPC providers, or Circle services), those services technically receive your IP address and request metadata as part of normal network operation. Crash reports and diagnostics, if you have enabled sharing with developers in your iOS settings, are provided to us by Apple in anonymized form.
5.3 Notifications — The current version of Dee does not send push notifications and does not collect notification tokens. If notifications are introduced in a future version, this Policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, Dee may rely on one or more of the following:
- (a) performance of a contract, to provide you with the App and its core features;
- (b) legitimate interests, such as maintaining security and preventing abuse;
- (c) your consent, for optional features where required.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Dee app does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. Wallet data, presets, and settings are stored locally on your device. System-level settings can be managed in your device's settings.
8. Data Sharing and Third Parties
Dee relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, such as:
- (a) the Hyperliquid network and its public API, which processes your wallet address and transaction data to provide market data and execute your signed transactions;
- (b) blockchain RPC providers and Circle CCTP services, which process wallet addresses and transaction data for cross-chain USDC transfers;
- (c) Dee-operated backend endpoints that support transfers into your own wallet: a relayer that provides gas sponsorship for eligible transfers (currently Arbitrum and Solana) — it broadcasts your wallet-signed transfer authorization to the source network and pays the network fee on your behalf — and a pass-through proxy for standard blockchain RPC and bundler requests. These endpoints receive only the public wallet address, wallet-signed authorizations, and transaction data required for the operation; amounts and recipients are locked by your wallet signature and cannot be redirected. They do not receive or process Hyperliquid trading orders and do not have access to private keys.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not provide third parties with access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords — we do not have them ourselves.
Data may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own by these infrastructure providers as part of normal network operation.
Third-party protocols, networks, or smart contracts that you interact with via Dee are not controlled by Decentralized Exploration Limited and have their own policies and risks.
9. Data Retention
Because Dee is self-custodial and does not maintain user accounts or a database of personal identity data, retention is limited:
- (a) public blockchain data remains on-chain under the control of the relevant network, not Dee;
- (b) wallet keys, presets, favorites, and local records are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the wallet or uninstall the App (except data you chose to back up to your iCloud Keychain, which is under your control);
- (c) anonymized crash reports provided by Apple may be retained for a limited period as needed for debugging.
10. Data Security
Decentralized Exploration Limited applies reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect data related to the operation of Dee. Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and sensitive actions are gated by Face ID / Touch ID or your device passcode. However, blockchain and the internet are inherently risky, and no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for:
- (a) securing your device;
- (b) securing your wallet, private keys, seed phrases, and passcodes;
- (c) ensuring that you interact only with the official App and trusted sources.
11. Children's Privacy
Dee is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided data to Dee, you may contact us at [email protected] so we can delete such data where appropriate.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:
- (a) the right to know whether and how your data is processed;
- (b) the right to access or correct certain information;
- (c) the right to object to certain processing;
- (d) the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Because Dee does not maintain a database of personal identity information and primarily processes public blockchain data, the practical scope of these rights may be limited. If you have questions, you may contact us using the details in the Contact section.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Decentralized Exploration Limited may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be made available at https://dee.xyz or within the App. Your continued use of Dee after such changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
